PC crash

Postby Mr. B » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:15 pm

My HP that I bought in 2003 finally seems to have died. It was running when I left this morning, and wouldn't power up tonight. Zach thinks power supply. I think 7 years isn't too bad for a PC.

Thanks to facebook (photos), dropbox (important documents), and a flash drive (quicken data), I'm still pretty much whole.

Just needed to download and install quicken and a printer driver to my netbook, and reconstruct about 4 weeks of banking activity from online statements. Only about 2-3 hours of work and $60 for quicken software. Not awful really.

Zach, dropbox rules.

Hey Zach, I got the audio working on my netbook. I changed a handful of things, so I'm not sure what did it, but it sounds great now.
