Nice job Crouton. You kept the same pace as last year! I am still really sad that I couldn't make it. :(
What if the hokeypokey IS what it's all about??

I was less prepared physically this year, but I made it without stopping to walk. I think having raced last year helped me pace better, and the beer at the end of the race helped to keep me motivated.

I have my first race ever coming up on the 21st, an 8k. I'm not a very fast runner, but I think I *might* be able to pull 48min. I've done it in 49 on the treadmill at an incline, so we'll see :)

Gonna try to run 5mi tomorrow if weather holds up. I find running outside so much better than on a treadmill, heh.

You run it in under 45 minutes and you get 500 Shrute bucks and your own custom giencke.net title (maybe Super Giant Nerd?)

Zach, we should do a run this fall sometime. If I'm training for something specific, it might keep me more motivated.

i'm pretty tempted to do the chicago rock 'n' roll half marathon on august first (http://chicago.competitor.com/). not sure yet though. price goes up starting next month, too :(

there's another too, the Soldier Field 10, (http://www.soldierfield10.com), but that's on May 29th.

Not sure what's later in the fall either, besides......the marathon itself. And F that. heh.

I don't think I could do 13 miles by August, and May might be a little early for me.

alsrun.com in milwaukee, in october, benefiting children's hospital is on my radar at the moment.
